Balesin...a taste of Bali, Mykonos, St. Tropez, Phuket , Costa del Sol and Toscana in the Philippines

Have you heard of Balesin Island? In my case, I haven’t until late 2014 when a friend shared some photos. Then this private island made it to my bucket list!

But how can I go there, if it’s for members only?  Surprisingly a friend invited me to tag along in their conference there! And so….my dream came true.

What is Balesin? What is there to see and experience? This is what I will share with you.

Balesin is a  500- hectare  island located in Polillo , Quezon, available only to members and their guests. Flying time to the island is 20 minutes from Manila by private or chartered plane. ( 9-seater or 19-seater).

One should make sure to bring his credit card because restaurants does not take cash.

It features seven themed villages based on the world’s most alluring destinations .

Bali, Mykonos, St. Tropez, Phuket , Costa del Sol , Toscana and  Balesin

Transportation within the island is free...

Ohhh...the pool in every village has it's unique and stunning view.

A paradise seen by few....feeling thankful to have the opportunity to stay in this beautiful island  for 3 days and 2 nights.

Okay travelling Doc since you are into travelling tell us how true that Palawan is the best place to live near a beach. I had 2 Filipina in Canada tell me this in the last 2 days.

I am having trouble when I search for cost.

If you know of someone that has some information please share with us foreigners who want to visit the Philippines but are finding it hard to get information on the internet.

Thanking you (and anyone contributing information to us) in advance for any information on cost of living in that area.
